I now have a masters. I can flee the country again and teach in Mexico or something. I am also going to try the more reasonable path of additional schooling.
I will know where I'm headed by January me thinks.
If not more school, then I will go south where my credentials mean something! huzzah!

lucky you. i've been mistaken for a girl for several job applications, probably because of my somewhat unisex chinese name. funny even the taxmen thought i
was a girl. i would have thought those tax people would be more accurate with their details.
anyways, i don't think you need to worry too much about med insurance, at least not in the next 4 years or so. obama can't act like a complete $!@%$

Anyway, I say kudos to your post, it was pretty spot on; as I have already spent 7 months traumatizing thousands of kids with my "American Accent"
and big American feet. Seriously, I'm like a dwarf in the USA, but I'm huge over there. If I ever go back, it would be with a much better plan.
Though I'll tell you, it was awesome having a group of women around me at all times. It was also awesome that they thought I was attractive and if I
hadn't been tied down at the time, I probably could have spread the white devil legends a little farther east.
I didn't think I mentioned working in Cuba; but yeah, I'm sure there are lot more qualified people than myself over there. Same with this country too.
A lot of really well qualified physicists with no jobs. I pity the guy with 20K debt and an aspring physics degree; he's pretty screwed unless its a
Ph.D. If that's his undergrad degree he's got two immediate options: he goes back into school or hunkers down with a job in the service industry.
Which is sort of why I'm planning on going back to school so that I can accumulate more resources. I got a real long term plan going on, so long term I
haven't thought it all the way through, but I think if I can access to super computers, I can start testing some of my ideas while I'm back in school,
and with any luck or form of divine intervention, it will be enough to start some !+!! so at least I have a story, if not a job prospect.
